Accident research

DetailsProducts

Requirement
To document the vehicle before and after the impact and to assess the impact of the collision and deformation of the vehicle.

Solution
FaroArms have been used for many years for evaluating the damage caused during a controlled collision. The extent of the deformation of the chassis and body components can be measured and compared to the nominal data.

Benefit
The portability of the arm allows it to be brought to the vehicle in the testing environment, also the simple addition of the Laser Line Probe allows more data to be captured giving more detailed analysis of surface deformation.
