Bear Swamp Power Company was in the process of replacing their turbine runner and operating generators. Their turbine manufacturer needed to design a computer and physical model to design the new runner. As a part of this process, measurements inside the scroll case were needed. East Coast Metrology used their FARO Laser Tracker to establish a coordinate system allowing the engineers to determine the position of the veins in relation to the center of the turbine.
